ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Janet Boydell is an American author and former businesswoman. Upon retiring in 2022, Janet decided it was time to focus on writing the stories she has been developing over the past thirty years.
Janet enjoyed her time in the field of corporate finance and later shifted into the world of executive-retained search. After founding her retained search firm called A Hire Connection, Inc., she recruited for C-suite functions, utilizing her proprietary processes to improve hiring strategies for CEOs.
Regardless of her success in the world of business, to her family and friends, she is known for her imagination and storytelling. Her children and grandchildren are delighted with Janet’s mysteries and whimsical stories.
Janet lives in Southern California and has two children and two grandchildren.
Janet published two strategic management books: "You’re NOT The Person I Hired!: A CEO's Survival Guide To Hiring Top Talent (Oct. 2005); and "A Hire Connection: How to Make Your Next Hire Your Best Hire" (Oct. 2007.)
She possesses a strong finance and accounting background and was previously employed in the investment banking industry.
Janet earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in law and finance from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
