Janet has published two strategic management books: "You’re NOT The Person I Hired!: A CEO's Survival Guide To Hiring Top Talent (Oct. 2005); and "A Hire Connection: How to Make Your Next Hire Your Best Hire" (Oct. 2007.)

She presented hiring workshops for Vistage International, SHRM, PSNI, and Qualcomm. and founded the executive-retained search firm, A Hire Connection. she was previously a partner at VCA Consultants, where she successfully grew a multi-million dollar staffing division.

She possesses a strong finance and accounting background and was previously employed in the investment banking industry. 

Janet earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in law and finance from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
